About Dr John Grinder and Carmen Bostic St Clair

John Grinder co-created Neuro-Linguistic Programming or NLP, universally regarded as the leading edge methodology in the study of human thinking an behaviour patterns, and one of the most interesting thinkers of our time.Grinder has written 14 books including texts on transformational grammar, family therapy, business communication and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. More recently, he co-authored “Whispering in the Wind” with Carmen Bostic St Clair.

He has devoted years of his life to his quest to uncover and present human patterns of excellence, modelled from genii in different fields.

Grinder created Neuro-Linguistic Programming with Richard Bandler, through modelling human excellence. With his partner, Grinder is continuing exploring new territories and continually updating his work, introducing new models of excellence and revised and re-coded models of his and Bandler’s early models.

Carmen Bostic St Clair is the CEO and founder of Quantum Leap, Inc., the company through which Carmen and John conduct their corporate work.Carmen has held senior political research posts in government administration. (The White House Committee of the Development of Small Business) and Business Advisory Council representative from California.

Carmen began her professional life as a school teacher, where through her natural gift of creating powerful participatory learning contexts, she won the National Teacher of the Year Award in the USA. Subsequently Carmen returned to graduate school herself, securing an MBA and then a doctorate in Jurisprudence. She soon excelled in her field, becoming Director of Mergers and Acquisitions directing multi-billion dollar acquisitions through her excellent negotiation skills.

At the point where she and John Grinder joined forces, she was the CEO of a holding company with 27 subsidiaries, ranging from plastic extrusions manufacturing through radio stations to commercial real estate development.
