Good point, Ulic. And I wonder what the implications of modeling Leary's beliefs, in change context, and applying them to modeling. For instance, in following one's own impulse to ask questions about what language distinctions might one use that are not part of the current NLP repertoire? May there be significant crossover circuits between kino and auditory channels in relation to diphthongal and consonantal patterning? That's just an example of infinite possibilities of new distinctions we might make, and step out and build models, not only of job and athletic performance, or modeling of special abilities, which seems to be a main focus of most modeling, but to begin again to build models on the leve of the meta model, Milton model and rep systems. That's what M Hall has tried to do, though many people here would disagree that his is a viable and useful model. best, C |
