Dr.Grinder, Thank you for your response.  So when you write, "...the investigator would elicit with great care a description..." (p.81), I am assuming from your reply that the subject's description regarding his or her ongoing experience is a non-verbal one and that the investigator used questions designed to provoke that non-verbal response.  In the future I would do well to complete the reading before posting questions. thank you for your patience, John.
