Hi, Thomas. You say: " Hello! Since I am no angel I have to rush into this part of the terrain. It is oft repeated that the map is not the territory. And now, according to Wiw, neither is the territory." Can you tell me how WITW(Wiw) describes (1) what the word 'map' refers to (2) what the word 'territory' refers to (3) what the phrase 'territory(i) that is not the territory(ii)' refers to, differentiating one meaning of territory from another. Don't let me put words in your mouth. Leave out (3) if you didn't literally mean "It is oft repeated that the map is not the territory. And now, according to Wiw, neither is the territory." What do you interpret the authors of WITW to say or mean about the concepts involved in your understanding of the statement "The Map is Not The Territory"? -nj |
