Francesco, I found your question intriuguing and I will be interested in Carmen and John's response. I don't get the sense that they are out there playing the marketing game. The patterns are not presented as New Code (TM). John, like many creative individuals, is out there playing at the edges of the improbable, having a blast, and inviting others to jump in. Isn't the main issue your own congruency? Do you have these patterns at a level where they have become uniquely a part of you? Being you, you can then go out and do what you will with "them." NLP and NLP New Code are not real things to me. They are simply words that we use to point to a particular way of punctuating experience. One of my ways of acting in the world is as a so-called Feldenkrais Practioner. But what is that? It's just a word. I am often saddened by my colleagues who learn "the method" as a product or series of methodologies. It doesn't dawn on them that there were unique ways of interacting with the world that Feldenkrais mastered that led to the creation of the Feldenkrais Method. The Method it self is trivial. Have fun - Ryan |
