John, from your description of Susan’s case (p. 204 f) I get the impression that you are implying that you have cured Susan’s (supposedly incurable) cancer by arranging the aerobatic plane trip. Is this really what you meant to say? If so, how do know that there is a cause effect relationship and how do explain the remission? It is hard for me to believe that the entire medical and pharmaceutical system fails and such a "simple" intervention succeeds in the case of a life threatening disease. What message is your example meant to communicate about illness, health and healing to people facing (serious) health issues? Rgds, Walter |
