Ben I have found people who didn't want to change. In the cases I have had where people wanted to change (and, of course, here, you would best make distinctions regarding congruity...), at least, some part of them wanted to, nlp has served adequately. Drugs are a short term response and may be warranted for emergency situations. A long term use of drugs is often an acceptance of not being able to change the conditions involved and a determination to treat sympthms and not the underlying condition. The drug regime itself is very difficulty to clean up once established and, of course, the gains made in the drug environment have to be transferred carefully into the non-drug environment. John |
