We completed a business focussed NLP training a couple of years ago which was 'properly researched academically' to see if 'it worked'and concluded that 'yes it did'.
In practice this meant is that a series of four 'psychometrically valid' tests showed (in three of the four areas tested) statistically significant changes over six weeks and three months in the profiles of the people sampled.
If you e-mail me off forum I can put you in touch with the University academic who did the research in case it may help you in yours.
