dear dr. grinder and everybody, hello. i've come upon in your co-authored book, "reframing", the parts negotiation version of the six-step reframing procedure. briefly, it follows the six-step reframing outline of working with a part to find out ways to satisfy its positive intention but instead you build explicitly a new part that handles a specific function, or handles other parts (thus it was named negotiation of parts) or intention(s). do you still do this (or teach this) along with the six-step reframing or is this procedure outmoded. also is the parts model still useful or is it wise to use the whole unconscious as a reference for reframing. cheers, scott |
