I know Dr John Grinder has spent a lot of money, time and effort to ensure that NLP remains in the public domain.  This is also reinforced by being a co-member of the society of NLP and Bandler group.

In London, Bandler Mckeena trainings, they will not allow you to attend their NLP trainings without signing a license agreement with them.  They argue its enforced by the society of NLP, until I mention that Dr John Grinder and others are also co-owners of the society and that NLP is now in the public domain.  They still say you MUST sign their license form to attend their trainings.

Can anyone explain what is going on here?  Is this illegal behaviour?
