Conscious "IN" subconscious "Out". The Key Word is Reframing. If you receive positive external feedback which is congruent to your beliefs or core values, then you know you're on the right track. If you receive negative external feedback or feedback that is incongruent with your core values, you can emmediately evaluate the information and take the next step right then and there, as opposed to jumping into a phone booth and hypnotizing yourself, or squeezing whatever it is you squeeze. The thing is, most people don't know themselves well enough to create an effective script, let alone tolerate an inaccurate one.
