Hi, Scott. Todd can't correctly play the game by himself, as far as I know. Todd might have a partner to play with - I don't know. Personally, no, I don't know how to play the alphabet game, not from reading about it in WITW, anyway. I like aerobic exercise, anything repetitive that raises my heart rate into a training zone. It don't consider it an alternate to any New Code method (I don't practice any), but I do like exercise, it's good for relieving stress, and puts me in a better mood. Sometimes, a little exercise and stretching before some focused activity helps me focus during the activity. Exercise is a GREAT stress management tool. Once I take the New Code seminar, I will learn how to play both positions of the alphabet game. WHO I will play with might present a problem, but I'll ask questions Dr. Grinder and Ms. Bostic St. Clair questions at the end of the seminar. The questions I will ask are: (1) having taken this seminar, can I train someone else to be partner with me in one of the New Code games, like the alphabet game? (2) for the self-application games, should I take a refresher course at some point? How else will I know if I am still playing the games correctly? (3) where can I get alphabet game charts? I might not like looking at a screen while I play the alphabet game with someone else. -nj ps: Scott, my knowledge that one can't correctly play the alphabet game alone came from my reading of WITW, my reading of the WITW section that introduces the alphabet game. I have not taken a New Code training from Dr. Grinder and Ms. Bostic St. Clair. |
