Hello, Scott. Yes, I'm trained in how to perform several kinds of cardiovascular activities and sports. But, I'm not trying to compare: (1) aerobic exercise (2) the alphabet game. What I meant was: (3) I like aerobic exercise, anything repetitive that raises my heart rate into a training zone. A training zone is just a heart rate. It can be calculated by several different formulas, so: (4) visit an exercise specialist to have one formula recommended to you. You can: (5) count your own heart rate or (6) wear a heart rate monitor around your chest or (7) wear a heart rate monitor on your wrist. To perform action (5), I recommend that you: (8) Using one hand, hold your forefinger and middle finger pressed (very gently) to a place on the front of your neck, and on the same side as your hand, a place where you can noticably feel your pulse. Watching a clock, count your pulse beats for 15 seconds, then multiply the count by 4, to calculate your pulse rate in units of beats/minute. You wrote: (9) "do you agree that in order to do correct aerobics exercises, you must have a coach all the time. are you applying this WITW criteria to your life as well?" New Code games are not aerobics. Exercise is a good method of stress management. In my mind, the Alphabet Game is something else entirely. (10) I'll wait until I have someone to play with before I play the Alphabet game (after I've learned how to play the Alphabet game). -nj |
