If you would like an example of the consequences of asking a ill-formed question, review this thread. The formulation of a question about an important human behavior (laughter in one or another of its forms) in Cause - Effect terms (the "why" in "why do people laugh") and the absolutely lack of contextual information ("people" in the same question and the failure to refine "laugh" into any one of its diverse forms) promotes nonsense from which I have grave doubts that anyone can glean anything of value - except, of course, the opportunity to laugh at the absurdity of the performance here and the general ineptness of our species. Pretty funny, heh! John |
