Thank you for your reply. Personally i am more inclinded toward maybe logic, and to the question, are we seeing what might be part of the really world or are we seeing a map, i would answer maybe. Not because i'm trying to be annoying but becasue it don't know. Is it a wave of is it a particle. In regards to your responce in a theoretical plane. No i don't think the map is the territory. So i assume that maybe my idea was not quite understood, so please grant me a re wording of it. How can we know our map is a map of reality if all we have to know this is a map. We would have to assume at some level that we know an actuality of how the world and how we percive it to do this. This assumption is that we only recive a map of reality, but we have already assumed we can't know reality. So the argument collapses on itself. I don't know if i have fully explained my thinking on this in a way for best understanding, maybe i'm just missing the point. But i still think that the point is open to disscusion as it stands at the base of what i think is the epistomology in NLP. All the best Thomas Heard |
