letting the ball go...|
well a kind of metaphor that comes to my mind when practicing to juggle. those of you who have tried juggling three balls(or more, i've been doing four recently) will probably get to the point where you think you can handle easily three balls but when you go for four...your hand (one or both) won't let go of that extra ball...and (splam!)
sometimes i'm a little bit amazed...the more you let the ball go, the more opportunity it will be for failure but after a lot of failure (having to pick up balls on the floor most of the time, yeah you do that in life as well)...there comes a point where you just might be able to catch all the balls in one go. then when you are a bit better at throwing the balls, then you might be able to do it faster to gain more spare time to catch and throw, catch and throw, and then you are juggling...not just throwing balls on the floor...
please try it, really is exhilarating...can't say it is HPS yet but still feels good when you just let the juggling get better without using too much force or conscious thinking...
