Harlan, You claim that my post was hostile. I invite you to consider if your evaluation could be mistaken. I did not claim that the technique is not powerful (which would be foolish given I have no experience of Menachem's version). Your assertion that I need to learn the technique is an assumption. I believe that I asked legitimate questions that are still unanswered. Are we to believe that Menachem is teaching the technique the way he learned it 20 years ago with no significant refinements? Second, in the intevening time, have you considered that John may have made siginficant revisions himself and no longer endorse the original pattern? By posting John's quote from this discussion you are heavily implying that he is endorsing Menachem's presentation of a technique that may not be a faithful representation of the original pattern or may be an outdated version. When you write "As far as John's quote on Ebay, I will no longer post it on Ebay if John is offended by it," this suggests that you don't think what you did was unethical.
