Hi John S. First, let us agree that much of what each of us learns proceeds from our ability to extract form and content from our experiences of coping with productions by others, independant of the intentions that such people may or may not have. Now, a couple of follow-up questions for you. You wrote, "...as he was a teacher in the same sense Milton Erickson was: mainly by indirection." and my questions are, Are you of the opinion that the obscurity that you characterize as indirection was a deliberate ploy by LW? and Are you of the opinion that anyone would have bothered to read LW if Russell hadn't annointed him?
