Hi Jim R

I hope that you were, in any case, having as much fun in high school as we were having modeling.

On pages 133-135, Carmen and I present the story of Maribeth. Please note that I did not use 6 step reframing with Maribeth but the treatment could be characterized as deep trance, regression and making arrangements with the unconscious, amnesia and testing of results - quite distinct from 6 step reframing. I have used 6 step reframing with such cases and if there is a strong secondary gain involved, it is appropriate and effective. There are many strategies for achieving this class of results. You might also check with Leo Angart (mentioned on page 138 along with his email address) as he has focused for some years on this issue and has researched additional methods for such objectives (e.g. Bates exercises).

All the best,

John
