Think of the many prominent and respected individuals who share contrasting views to the extreme right: take for example, Bowling for Columbine by Michael Moore (a true home grown american) which won an Oscar this year! Watch and then watch it again, so you expand your map of the territory. If your own map of the territory is limited (as it seems to be at the moment), you will be projecting it to others around you. Then you might like to read some of the writings by Noam Chomsky, even go to a lecture of his. There are plenty of people out there for you to learn from. |
