Okay, I understand what you're getting at. But you might still be getting ecological and cross-contextual problems in your recalling the model before you have the opportunity to make it explicit. I conjecture from my own learning experience, but it might be useful to you. It seems to me that every time we draw on a past learning, whether it be learned yesterday or 20 years ago, we are doing at least a partial regression. What in the present context interferes with this regression? It could have something to do with the state-dependency of your performance before the strategy is made explicit. A thought. JS |
