Someone recently on another NLP discussion forum posted some comments that pose challenges to the quality of the Milton model.  Here's a copy of those comments:

"While Richard and John modelled and "codified" Milton's patterns ... Bateson
called the work "shoddy" and Milton was being polite. But I'm not that kind.
What's significant is that although Richard and John taught NLP and Milton Model to thousands of people, while there are people who are recognized as amazing hypnotists in their own rights, there is not one of the students they've exclusively taught that I know of who is yet considered the equal of either Milton or themselves with regard to hypnotic protocol and intervention ... this alone is interesting.  Richard and John have been deceiving us at best or failed to successfully
model Erickson...which is it???
They have failed to reproduce the Magic..the Excellence of Milton and other great people they modelled...or am I the only one to thinking this
way....???"
