Ladies and gentlemen, Stephen Hawley here. I attended the Austin,TX New Code of NLP in February of this year. I have been working on a complete review of the training for some time now. Slow but steady... There are, of course, a great many reasons why you have not read my brilliant :) encapsulation of the wonderous meeting of minds in the cold of Austin... First, there is so much to do as a result of the training. The amount of raw info delivered to us from John and Carmen nearly overwhelmed me as I backtracked to pinpoint what I could as far as the exercises alone. This seminar could have been called NLP without the Bullshit or How To DO NLP Instead of TALK ABOUT NLP. I have never experienced such straight-talking from two such accomplished individuals. The amount of time they spent with whatever we as a group decided that we wanted was impressive, to say the least. To be able to distill years of what they do into 5 short days... BRAVO!!! They were deeply to the point and marvelously subtle while they did. An example that comes to mind was Carmen's discussion of Personal Editing. I thought that, at the time, this was a rather easy piece. I have learned at this point that I can and have and will use this to do an enormous amount of good in my life. I have even done it with people in conversation. With their permission, of course. And it has lead to some rather delightful changes in the way people are earning at work. This is a tiny piece of info given almost off the cuff and yet the edge of its usefulness is most likely not to be found by me anytime soon. The littlest activities in life can be shaped, moulded, tweaked to my heart's content. The beginnings of artistry. This leads us into the heart of the seminar for me. Multiple involuntary signal systems with the unconscious. Getting into rapport and gaining access to the Boss has been quite possibly the single most important learning and understanding that I have built from my NC NLP experiences. Please understand however you understand that this is the smallest bit of almost nothing explained. As time permits, I will develop my abilities to express myself in writing, until then... This is a bit of my personal view on the seminar. I am not speaking for my fellow adventurers, the folks at www.got-nlp.com, John,Carmen or Michael ( WebMaster ). To wrap this up for the time being: Of course the seminar was freakin' amazing. Everything that I wanted to get met was met. Why? Because I made certain it was met. How? John and Carmen were available to us. I really could not ask for more than that. There are plenty of details that might be relevant at some other time: John's presentation most likely could have been grasped and used by a young child. Carmen's smile, spirit and energy she devoted to teaching us well, despite a Grandmother's cold... The openess to questions and the wonderful answer of I do not know when they did not know. These are certainly things that I admire. Jeisyn Murphy and team made doing business with them a pleasure which I plan to repeat. Enough of this.
