I think it would be facsinating.  I wonder what kind of a role distract would facter into in terms of language patterning and meta-programs.  I've had a couple clients who were southern politicians and I was very impressed by their rich use of sensory-based metaphor; much more so than my northwestern clients who I've noticed tend towards a few rather counterproductive habits in the realm of language patterning, especially in the context of establishing motivation.
