Interesting comment...

Mike Yapko, who was around in the early days of NLP has his own take on this, which paraphrased goes..."Most NLPers don't have a clue that they're actually practising CBT."

Once your analyst friend reclaims his projective disidentification maybe he'll agree that you're an uncommonly good analyst too :o)
