Hello, Kate. I don't know enough about Erickson's work. I'm going to read Patterns I and II. From reading other books, and from my own experience of NLP and Ericksonian hypnotherapy, I have a sense of Erickson's values, and have some ideas about Ericksonian hypnotic procedures. I don't have an ax to grind in favor of any inherent ethicality of Erickson's work. It's much safer to follow procedures with less potential for unethical misuse. Ericksonian hypnotherapy is wide open to abuse. That's why I'm interested in the New Code games. I don't know how the New Code games work, but from what I've read, the games are a valuable alternative to Ericksonian techniques of therapeutic change. You wrote: 1.
