HI GSM, (Hopefully this post speaks to what you're asking about) I am grateful to my NLP New Code Trainer for one day asking me: "Why do people ask questions Mark?" (Or perhaps it was worded "What is the value of asking questions?")...nope...LOL...I just remembered...I think the conversation actually started with the (more accurate) question, "Why do you ask questions you already know the answers to?", and then spun out from there...;-) After enjoying the muddle for some time, I came up with, and was directed by my trainer (via other questions) to a few ideas/answers/further questions. So then, let's play this out... A someone asks a question. What is the intention of their question? (In an NLP context), what are the differences between a client's intention for asking a question, and a Practitioner's intention for asking a question? I wonder how you'll reply? ;-) Mark MacLean |
