Hi all, Yesterday, I drove about one hour on the motorway. So, I decided to stop my internal dialog (my trigger for what I call "stopping the world"). The results were rather astonishing. A Visual perception of about 180° with different speeds (side, front, inside the car, tarmac). The hearing of the tyres rolling became conscious. When I arrived at the city of Marseille, the air smelt badly. After, when I attended a meeting, I noticed that questions was arising faster than usual. I was feeling very calm and I think "cleanly committed to what was occurring" Any comments? Some additional wonderings: Does the awareness of the fast lateral speed might have entailed a time distortion? John, you wrote (Re:Is it possible to abstain from f2 filters)" BTW, as I have mentioned a number of times, NLP modeling (but not necessarily other forms of modeling requires the accessing and sustaining of such a state (suspended f2 filters) as a prerequisite to engage in that adventure." So do you access that kind of state as an unconscious uptake phase? What is the relation between "stopping the world" or suspended f2 filters AND know-nothing state? In the example of competition in martial arts (p237), the know-nothing state is described as "eschewing any expectations, refusal to anticipate…" Nevertheless, it seems to be framed within acontext (the competition which means specific rules, one opponent …) Does the competitor would be opened to the fact that another opponent might arrived ?
