Thanks Robin, for tying a lot together for me. The "whom" would be the academic establishment, as well as the powers that be (media, corporate and government leaders who influence the course of knowledge development through financial means and the manufactoring of public opinion). The four-tuple, yes, but I also believe a lot of NLP, and especially the things you've mentioned ie dance, sculpture, etc., are codified in the process of dancing, sculpting, etc., in the visual and kino coding that can only be transfered through re-presenting those actions in training. I would be a liar if I didn't admit borrowing from Gurdjieff, the situationists, Steiner, RAW (nice catch) and especially Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari. It's interesting to see/hear/feel how these ideas can play out in action, and what we have here are ways of moving from specific to abstract, abstract to specific sensory reps to form experiments along these lines. I find this very exciting. best, JS |
