Ken, On p. 55 of WITW are two types of models. These classes are more encompassing than the definition found in your post ("by NLPmodeling you mean the modeling of specific geniuses") although your language here is ambigious. It would appear to me that eye patterns are an example of the latter type. This is my inference from reading WITW. This could also apply to 6-step. However, six-step reframe might also be defined as the first type with the modeler modeling self. Or...even design. Since it was produced by the unconscious of JG, the unconscious of JG nose. Could be any of the 3 as I see it. This is an aside... I am fascinated by your statement that eye-accessing patterns and 6-step reframing were discovered, while, apparently, the alphabet was designed. How are you making this distinction (designed vs. discovered)? I am not asking you to justify yourself. Rather I am suggesting that the way you make the distinction has implications that make a difference. Todd |
