When asking questions, you treat your client with respect that 'they have all the resources they need' and that they are the master of their lives. They might need only to discover the resources they have. It is important to discover how they are forming their model of the world, and how the structuring how they are thinking about life. Is it big or small? Bright or Dim? Close or far away? Detail or Abstract? What are they believing that has brought them to this place? All answered by asking them questions.
