Thank you for the post Michael. Though I haven't as yet practised your exercise as outlined, I was able to go into a clean enough second position while reading to allow my sensory impressions to deepen and revivify previous learnings that I had with Sandra Tabb as part of Roger's PST training. I recall playing a game that sounds similar to the "alphabet game", though it is likely different, as an L, R, or a C command was underneath each of the letters of the alphabet and the game seemed to be more oriented toward identifying and changing learning strategies. I applaud "attempting to discover ways to present to juxtapose alternatives to the evidence", especially when "presented with such strong evidence by experts". My initial interest in NLP was the possibility that its' study and practise offered a revolutionary approach to scientific research which one could become highly competent at(modelling). Through your sensory based descriptions and examples, you have indirectly offered a nice representation of how someone behaves and processes when engaged in fruitful research and experimentation. The "what would happen if" game that you mentioned sounds intriguing, especially in the context of "developing new stuff here.". I apologize for the long winded post. May the Whispering in the Wind sing while it may. bjornles. |
