Michael The solution is simple enough - forget anchors. Anchoring are a clean, power way to select and move significant portions of FA experience around - use them for that. However, they are artifical in the strongest sense. For your purposes, there are two ways to accmplish what you are seeking: 1. Look at the chain of excellence in Whispering. What it suggests is that each and every state has an associated breathing patterns and physiology. The physiology (or equivalently, its associated breathing pattern)is the access point. Thus, the physiology itself is the anchor - the natural anchor as opposed to the class of artifical ones you are presenting confused by 2. use high performance states generated by, for example, new code games - this, as you stated, assigns to the unconscious the responsibility to pick actual behaviors that flow out of the high performance states - the ones most relevant to the context and your objectives within that context. This is a far more exciting way to approach the challenges than artifical anchoring. For readers working their way through all this, please note the tendency to distinguish between the utility of distinguishing between learning to ride a bike and how you acutally ride it once you are well-trained. Drop the superstious behavior and go after the core of the process. All the best, John |
