I do feel emotions in my brain as well in my physiology. They sense them as an altered state of consciousness (that too me is as much a feeling as a physical one). Its like drinking alcohol, it may affect you physically by relaxing your body but also affects your consciousness. To me emotions are very much the same. I can imagine experiencing two competing emotions at the same time...internal chaos perhaps, confusion (mixed messages), incongruity perhaps, or just a fusion of the two. |
