I define effective therapist as someone able to move someone into a new mindset with new behaviors. able to get results with what someone wants. I have heard about great therapists...but from all the information i have i still get confused with where to go from there. Is there a meta frame thaat is useful? Do i hold what they want in my mind? Do i see them already having the behavior? Do I keep in mind that it is my job to change them? Is there an effective mindset that set the frame? If i had the answer i would gain...a greater competance in doing change work. And a beter appreciation for the dynamics of change. Thank you Eric |
