Thomas The unconscious is offering signals at a high frequency during "normal" states of consciousness. Typically, they are below threshold for conscious appreciation - the state of "nornal" consciousness being swamped by internal dialogue that generates a focus on emotional responses (kinesthetics) to internal representations generated by displaced (not here and now) accesss that results in a lack of sensitivity to ongoing reports about body requirnements or are recogized (read interpreted) by consciousness as a nuisance (pain, for example) or uneasiness... and therefore are either executed (pain pills, for example, that are judged to be effective or not by the simple criterion of whether they kill the messenger or not) or ignored. Such a personal history does not create an effective basis for setting up a signal system that depends on some minimum rapport between conscious and unconscious processes. If you accept this proposal, then develop a state of high body sensitivity (to be able to detect the arrival of such signals) and review the section in Whispering - pages 217 -218). In general, any way of arranging context so that the ongoing signals issuing from the unconscious are amplified will serve. A sharp-eyed well-trained practitioner (high calibration skills) would be a useful companion to engage in this exercise - with two responsibilities: 1. to detect through calibration the signals being offered and to gain rapport with the unconscious by reflecting these 2. once rapport is established, to act as your representative (of your consciuous mind) and to request such robust signals that it is not possible for you to not notice them. Engage in whatever activities that lead you to a highly body sensitive state without internal dialogue (except for its implemenation of the processes described in Whispering. Let us know how you fare! John |
