Pour some for me too, I'll drink to all that, but the most consistent barricade I've encountered to escaping the identity trap, whether in myself or others, is fear, terror, dread, incredible panic that involves uncontrollable physiological responses. It's unfortunate because identity is always a less-than, and egoless states are often the most pleasurable (this assumes ego=identity). And if it wasn't for this fearing NLP, or any change techniques would be a lot easier, more reliable, and the results would last longer. I would appreciate any recommendations, though I realize that all of NLP and New Code may be the resulting answer. best, JS |
