Thanks John, Do you mean by criteria, a thorough awareness of difference in kinesthetics between 1st and 2nd? Most of my state shifts are not very clean, though I work on this in some ways just about every day, mainly by fading out internal reps, or by consciously choosing which reps to have for a period of time. I guess new code games would really be of use for this. I've also tried anchoring states generated by martial arts exercises, bicycling around NYC during rush hour (used to be a great uptime exercise, dodging trucks and cabs, etc..), and performing music. These have all given me a buzz similar to the one I got from trying out the alphabet game on myself. The problem for me is the desired state seems very difficult -- in all cases -- to attain purposely, and whatever anchors I set seem to fade quickly. Any advice? best, JS |
