My golf swing model is very kinesthetic specific (the other modalities, auditory down...pre-visualisation and then visual external are only minor features of the model - and can be perhaps generalised across several sporting domains...for example tennis, squash, football etc..). The kinesthetic distinctions I have made have been developed over several years, and as far as I know have not be made explicit anywhere else (I am aware of most proposed models out there, most being replications of text book standards...none of which I have found very useful for improving people's performance). The distinctions I have made are very powerful, rich in kinesthetic understanding and generic..applied by professionals everywhere...and the opposite or lack of these movements in golf swings are demonstrated by countless numbers of amatures... |
