I am fed up with the sole talk of trainers of NLP. In fact I got so fed up I started a self directed learing group for NL Psychotherapists, trainees and interested parties in the UK.  You can read about it at www.nlpsychotherapy.co.uk

However, there seems to be a belief amongst NLP'ers and NLPt'ers that only "trainers" have the necessary information and skill.  Its a continuing uphill struggle to encourge my colleagues to recognise the benefits of getting together to talk about NLP and NLPt issues on the basis of our own skills.  A professional development process.  The profesional group in the UK meets once a year - and most members think this is OK.

The problem is that we talk a lot about "community" and yet I see very little evidence of such a thing.  Thus we only meet at trainings where we give up skills and experience (and power ?) to those we believe are greater.  My fear is that all we create are more trainers and more training organisations - to what end?  Where is the "community" in that?

We talk a lot about modelling but in this area we seem to do very, very little of it.
