In the section on open moves, Mark says to ask "Can you please give me a different signal/decrease that signal for no" I've been taught that this is not a useful thing to say to the unconscious because the unconscious is very literal, so the answer to the above would be "yes", not "no". When wanting a better or more pronounced no signal I've been taught its better to just tell the unconscious, "give me a no signal" or "amplify the no signal." In this way, we don't mix the levels of communication, except when we want to mix then when saying, "will you give me a yes signal" |
