Wolfgang, You make some good points, but the fact of the matter is, in this context, WITW's ethical standard is not being applied to just NLP practioners (even then it wouldn't make total sense) but is being suggested as a stantard for therapy in general. Yes Milton Erickson did use hypnotherapy. That is a modality of his therapeutic. Grinder and St. Claire would include hynotherapy in their concern for content because you are still talking to your client, possibly introducing data on a level below the process level the individual initiated.
