Rose Couple of comments: I strongly suggest that evaluative terms such as "higher" and "deeper" as in "Drugs, undoubtedly, have the potential to 'open up' our awareness to higher/deeper dimensions" may be arguable so but until such an argument is crafted, the use of the simple term "different" If you are worried about the addictive issue (I agree with your comment) - there is a simple solution - achieve the state that typically ensues from the drug, anchor and if the experience is one you wish to further investigate, use the anchor. Your comments about the use of drugs embedded in hundreds even thousands of years of social experimentation is a far different proposition than what we have in the western world at present. John |
