Energy is an apt metaphor for a sensation akin to magnetism or moving water. Though I admit that what Pete seems to be talking about seems more a shift in pattern recognition, which often accompanies higer intensities of these kinesthetics. But even if it's hallucination, for the most part, there are people who can raise and lower the temperature of their skin surface, change skin conductivity, and even alter the physiology of other people with light touch, or no touch at all. I would be curious to hear what your thinking is on this. btw, I don't associate this with spirituality, as much as aspects of nature that people just tend to miss. But maybe that's what we mean by "spirit." Off the most "spiritual" people I've met are not very nice, and least self-aware and most egotistical. Go figure. best, JS |
