Carmen and John

Thank you for your reply.

Your answer regarding my second question is very clear to me. When I look at myself from second position it is a non-reflexive perception since the looker is not myself.

Despite your answer to my first question I do not know if I truly understand the distinction between 1st and 3rd. I suppose the background is that I have read that 3rd is when I look at and listen to myself from the outside. 1st position is when I look out at the world from my own eyes and hear with my own ears. As I understand your reply this definition of 1st is somewhat lacking, since it is possible to dream in 1st while experiencing things that are not experienced from ones bodys perceptual position.

All the best,

Mr. x
