Pete OK, consider yourself told:)! I refuse to respond to presentations with the style in which Peter offers his posting however I recognize and validate your point. As Carmen and I stated in Whispering, the classic code has certain flaws in that critical portions of what Bandler and I actually did did not get explicitly coded - this was the point of the critique of the classic code in Whispering. There are many reasons possible for the, as you say, ineffective results reported by practitioners: Incongruency on the part of the practitioner Lack of rapport skills with the client's unconscious low level calibration skills - if you miss an important non-verbal signal, the client's unconscious is likely to decline to support the further work Inadequate training a coding failure for the pattern in question ... I can imagine dozens more. On the other hand, it may be that there are flaws in the coding of the new code - this is the importance of Mitch's report - and, I assume you recognize, the responses I have offered to him. What would be interesting is for someone (perhaps having demonstrated his ability to hallucinate, bitch and moan, Peter could move on to a useful project) to investigate the reported "failures" and determine whether they cluster - the difficulty is, of course, that what is reported in such cases is strained through the filters of consciousness and it is quite likely that it is precisely what the practitioner didn't note consciously that makes the difference. This makes the project a very interesting challenge. If there were such an investigation and a cluster (or more than one) were discovered, then interesting corrections could be offered.
