Hi Martin,

Only have time for a quick response meantime....

NLP in general and WITW privileges Upper Right especially in terms of operations. High performance states, the chain f excellence, anchoring etc are Upper right type in nature....JG and CB allow the submodality changes to happen as a result of the physiological intervention rather than manipulating them directly. The Verbal Package specifically gets sensory based experience....again a feature of UR. As are the neurological pathways of preFA, and FA...

Of course there are Upper left influences too....but these are mainly structural rather than meaning based ...i.e. what is the smd structure of a belief rather than what does the belief actually "mean"....and even then WITW prefers not to work on beliefs directly, preferring behavioural mechanisms to bring about belief change indirectly. Upper left is more to do with interpretive hermeneutics which NLP based interventions eschew...

Remember though....Wilber states that an intervention in any quadrant will of necessity cause changes in the other quadrants simultaneously....given that all experience is non-dual they can't not change...

Sorry....meeting to go to!

ATB,

Lewis.
