Hey there... I had forgotten that I had posted this. I hope that I have not offended any other Stephen's with the possibility that they may be confused with this line of reasoning. Relax. You are not being accused of this. You postings speak for themselves. Interesting to see a bit of thinking here along these lines. It seems to me that the practice of Non-Identification is inherent in all of Applied NLP. Meaning that it is Level Three Thinking ala Bateson. At least it means that to me. Curious to read any thoughts on the more direct embodiment of these metaphors... What physical actions will light the circuity to achieve Non-Identification? Without the framing, of course. Any takers? E-Prime, the Meta-Model, the Verbal Package, Clean Language and more seem to be interesting paths. I am looking for anyone with the experience of doing these things with actions. Something different that simply shuting off the internal dialogue and using peripheral vision... All of the best, That Stephen |
