Eric, Glad to see that the thread that I started has attracted enough attention... to evolve in to something that MAY prove useful. As you can see, I was asking a question when the thread began. Whether or not E-Prime is useful or not... I guess you can use it if you find it helpful, depending on the context ( and you, of course, determine, in part, CONTEXT )... As an aside: If the meaning of the communication... blah, blah, blah... Would you think that it could be simplified down to Intent/Context? I suppose that this implies that each speaker is responsible for their part in the loops set up when communicating. They both will have awareness, at some level(s) of their part in generating Context by their Intent. Would framing speaking in this way be a larger chunk and maybe easier than pruning?
