I would propose that calling what Carmen and I describe in Whispering as modeling as analysis would obliterate the critical point - the distinction between modeling ala NLP and modeling as a general activity (conscious, left brained, verbal analysis). For decades, well-intentioned trainers have had well-intentioned students do "modeling" - which upon examination and given the definition of modeling in Whispering turns out to be the imposition of the modeler's own perceptual and intellectual (f2) categories on the behavior of the model. Thus collapsing modeling as we described into the term analysis would reinforce this most unfortunately tendency.
